This religious building is located in Tindaya (La Oliva Municipality). It has a square plant and a small vestry attached to one of its sides. The church has only one nave, the flooring is made of local stone tiles, with a single stair separating it from the High Altar. The temple has a two-sided sloped roof. The whole building but the belfry –located in the left side- is limed. The small vestry, which has a four-sided sloped roof, is connected by a door to the High Altar. The following items are held inside the church: • A polychrome wooden sculpture representing Saint John. • A polychrome wooden sculpture representing San Blas, dressed with an Episcopal robe, made in the XVIII c. • A sculpture representing the Virgen del Rosario with a child, made in polychrome wood, early XVIII c. • A sculpture representing the Nuestra Señora de la Inmaculada Concepción, made in polychrome wood, early XVIII c. • A sculpture representing the Virgen de Candelaria made in polychrome wood, with fabrics and a silver crown, early XVIII c. • A sculpture representing a San Nicolás de Tolentino holding in his left hand a tray with a partridge and on his right hand a Cross, it is made in polychrome wood, with fabrics and a silver crown, early XVIII c. • A sculpture representing San Antonio de Padua holding in his left hand a child and in his right hand a book, early XVII c. • A sculpture representing the San José, made in polychrome wood, XVII c. • A sculpture representing the Virgen de los Dolores made in polychrome wood, with fabrics and a metal crown, early XIX c. • A sculpture representing the Virgen de Candelaria holding in her left hand a child, XVII c. • A sculpture representing Santa Rita de Casia with a Cross in her hand and a thorn in his forehead, XVIII c. • Baptismal font made in light stone with vegetable decorative motifs. • An incense holder with silver encrustations. • A chalice, with silver, emeralds and amethyst, encrustations, made in the XVIII c. • Processional Cross with silver encrustations, made in the late XVIII c. • A book rest made in polychrome wood, XVIII c. • A headstone corresponding to D. Sebastián de Cabrera, made in 1850. • A pulpit carved and assembled in wood, with a square base. It has four cavities where the Evangelists are in four oil on canvas representations. • Via Crucis made with fabrics, made in the XX c. • Oil on canvas representing Saint John the Baptist. Made in the XVIII c. • Oil on canvas representing Saint Joseph with a child, it is part of the main reredo, painted in the XVIII c. • Oil on canvas representing the Stations of the Cross, it is part of the main retable and was made in the XVIII c. • Oil on canvas representing the Souls in the Purgatory. Among the Purgatory characters we find priests, bishops and kings. • Oil on canvas representing the Virgen del Pilar on top of a column with two angels at both sides. • A Baroque style Retable devoted to the Virgen de los Dolores, made in polychrome wood in the XVIII c. • Oil on canvas representing Saint John the Evangelist, inside the main reredo, XVIII c. • Oil in canvas representing the Virgen de la Dolorosa, located in a vaulted niche within the main reredo, XVIII c. • Two polychrome wood balustrades, XIX c. • Baptismal font made in dark stone. • XX c. confessionary booth made in wood. • Chalice made in silver with a golden inside, early XX c.
