Diving in Fuerteventura’s crystal clear waters gives us the opportunity to observe how time passes. This can be noticed by seeing the geological composition of the coast (Fuerteventura is the oldest island in the Canaries).
Fuerteventura has the biggest coastal plateau in the whole archipelago, making it possible to have “shallow” immersions (10 to 30 metres) and therefore permitting you to stay longer under water. The mildness of the water temperature also makes it possible to dive all through the year (17 to 22 ºC).
The lack of plankton means that underwater visibility is impressive (up to 30 metres in winter). In Spring the visibility diminishes as this is the season richer in plankton.
